Temperature Console

The temperature console is responsible for all air conditioning and temperature operations in the T-6/A Texan II.

The switches and controls of the temperature panel are noted below (from left to right, top to bottom);

• Evap Blwr Switch
• Bleed Air Inflow Switch - Required to HI for high altitude operations >29,000 feet, or OBOGS WARN light will illuminate on CWS.
• Temperature Control Dial - Required to HOT for operations where ambient temperature falls below 10 degrees celsius or set to COLD if 'DUCT TEMP' light illuminates on CWS.
