Pre-Boarding
Checklist (Shift + 2)

Canopy Cover - OFF
2. Prop Retainer - OFF
3. R.B.F Flags & Covers - OFF
4. Wheel Chocks - OFF
5. Canopy - OPEN (Shift + E)
6. Pilot on board - CHECK
6. Instructor on board - CHECK if Required
Pre-Startup
Checklist
1.
Gust lock - OFF
2. Master battery - ON
3. Auxillery battery - ON
4. Lamp Test - TOGGLE (Check Warning Panel, Master Warn
Light, Master Caution Light, & Fire Warn Light)
5. AOA Test - TOGGLE (Check AOA Indexer operational)
6. Fire Test - TOGGLE (Check Fire Warn Light operational)
7. Navigation lights - ON
8. Engine cutoff paddle - PUSH DOWN to disengage.
9. PMU switch - NORM (Check PMU
STATUS light extinguished on warning
panel.)
10. Bus Tie switch - NORM (Check BUS
TIE extinguished on warning panel.)
11. Fuel Bal switch - AUTO
12. Manual Fuel Bal - NORM
13. Canopy - CLOSE
14. Anti Collision Lights - ON
15. Boost Pump - ON (Check FUEL
PX light extinguished on warning panel.)
16. Master Generator - ON
17. Ignition - ON
18. Increase PCL until greeen 'ST
READY' light appears on warning panel.
19. Attitude Indicator - CAGE
20. Starter - AUTO/RESET
Post
engine start checklist
1.
Confirm torque reading between 5-8%, N1 between 68-72%.
2. Starter - NORM
3. Ignition - NORM
4. Boost Pump - ARM
5. Avionics - ON
6. Oxygen Supply - ON (Check 'OBOGS
FAIL' light extinguished on warning
panel.)
7. Bleed Air Inflow - HI
8. Trim Aid Device - ON
9. Attitude Indicator - UNCAGE
Taxi
Checklist
1.
Park Brake - OFF
2. Taxi Light - ON
3. Increase PCL slightly to maintain a steady 10-12
knot taxi speed
4. Flaps - T/O
5. Altititude Barometer - Set to local setting
Takeoff
Checklist
1.
Landing Light - ON
2. Line up on runway.
3. Toe Brakes - ON
4. PCL forward until torque steadies around 15%
5. Confirm Hydraulic pressure, Oil temp, Oil PSI, ITT
& N1 all remain stable.
6. Toe Brakes - OFF
7. PCL - Full forward
8. Rotate - 80 KIAS
9. Gear up - Airborne and less than 150 KIAS
10. Flaps up - Airborne, less than 180 KIAS or above
500 feet.
Climb
Checklist
1.
Best Climb Rate - 88% torque, 95% N1 @ 230 KIAS and
10 degree climb for 4,000 FPM rate.
2. Set Altitude Barometer setting to 29.92 upon passing
18,000 feet.
3. At 18,000 reduce climb angle to 5 degrees climb for
approximately 2,000 FPM rate.
4. At 20,000 set RAM AIR FLOW - HI
5. OAT 2 degrees C. - De-Ice - ON
Cruise
Checklist
1.
PCL to 80% for optimum cruise conditions.
Descent
Checklist
1.
PCL - Idle
2. Adjust elevator trim and attitude to maintain between
2,000 and 4,000 feet rate of descent.
3. When passing 18,000 feet, set barometer to local
setting.
4. At OAT 10 degrees celsius, set Anti-Ice OFF and Temp
to COLD
Landing
Checklist
1.
160 KIAS - Flaps T/O
2. 150 KIAS - Gear Down (Check 3 green gear lock lights.)
3. 110 KIAS - Flaps LDG
4. Optimum approach at 90 KIAS, AOA between 6-9 degrees
and yellow AOA indexer light.
After
Touchdown
1.
Apply Toe Brakes and proportional backpressure on the
control column.
2. PCL - Idle
3. Landing Light - OFF
Shutdown
Checklist
1.
Parking Brake - ON
2. Flaps - UP
3. Engine Cutoff paddle - PULL to shut down engine.
4. Canopy Lever - PULL to open canopy.
5. Lights - ALL OFF
6. Trim Aid Device - OFF
7. Bleed Air Inflow - OFF
8. Oxygen Supply - OFF
9. Avionics - OFF
10. PMU - OFF
11. Master Generator - OFF
12. Auxillery Battery - OFF
13. Battery - OFF
14. Gust Lock - ON
After
leaving aircraft (Spot View)
1.
Open Pre-Boarding Checklist (Shift+2)
2. Pilot on board - UNCHECK
3. Instructor on board - UNCHECK if applicable.
4. Wheel Chocks - ON
5. RBF Flags & Covers - ON
6. Prop Retainer - ON
